KNOWN ISSUES
- ATmega8: Problem with Waveform Generation Mode bits -> AVR
Tools-Simulator-Known Issues
- Autodetection of wrong device selected by user in a debug session
is not working for all variants (P, PA, A) of the following devices:
ATmega165, ATmega169, ATmega645, ATmega649, ATmega325, ATmega329
Workaround: Make sure the selected device matches the target device
used.
Note: AVR Studio 4.19 is the last release for the mature AVR Studio
4 platform. The release combines AVR Studio 4.18, SP1, SP2, and SP3
into one package for a more convenient install on legacy systems.
WinAVR as an independent project does not exist, but was entirely
under the wing and called Atmel AVR Toolchain. Put it to separate from
the site of Atmel, first remove the old WinAVR, top AVR Studio 4.19.
